The Word On The Street is Canada’s largest annual free outdoor book and magazine festival, dedicated to celebrating reading, writing, literacy, and Canadian and Indigenous storytelling.

During the festival, I set up an 8 ft. space with my “What Would You Tell Your Ex?” interactive installation, asking people to write with Sharpies on Post-it notes and put them on display. Alongside my installation, I also sold my book, Letters to Your Ex.

Date & Location: September 26th & 27th, 2026 at David Pecaut Square in downtown Toronto.
Attendance: Over 180,000 people attended the festival
